You know I love to try new techniques, so I couldn't resist a magic technique for Carla's challenge today. I searched the Tutorials section for "magic" and decided to try the Chalkboard Marker Magic tutorial. Thanks, Anne, for this lovely stamp that was perfect for this technique! It was very simple stamping, embossing, and coloring and it's a pretty neat effect, don't you think? I chose to frame my chalkboard with a kraft frame that I dragged some inkpads across for a faux wood look. Then I popped up that frame and embellished with this cute bow that I saved from some sort of package. I would never pull a bow off a package and throw it away!
